Our presentations are tailored for the audience Our most popular presentation is the one we do for Grade or Middle School Students Bringing our Hot Air Balloon to the school provides the students, faculty and staff the opportunity to experience the system up close and personal. Our presentation consists of a classroom discussion where we talk about the principles of Aviation from a Balloonist’s perspective, weather conditions and it’s effect on our flight, and allow an opportunity to answer questions.The discussion lasts between 10 and 30 minutes depending on the age group and their attention span. We then move outdoors to inflate the Balloon. Students watch the process and experience how the Balloon System works. Our presentations are based on the goals set by the Teacher.Often we dovetail the presentation with science or weather studies to give the students some real life experience to relate to their studies.More often, we just have fun. After we lay the Balloon back down, we get the classes “totally” involvedin the packing up process. Everyone gets to help milk the air out of the envelope and then pack it away in its storage bag.
