DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO MEYER AIRPARK, TIGARD, OREGON
Meyer Airpark is located near King City on Beef Bend Road.
From I-5;
Coming from the South, exit freeway at exit #291 (Carmen Drive), turn left on Carmen Drive. Follow Carmen Drive down the hill to 72nd Avenue. Turn Left onto 72nd Street. 72nd will begin to bend to the right and intersects with Lower Boones Ferry Road at the next stop light. Follow Lower Boones Ferry Road to the next stop light. Turn Right onto Durham Road. Follow Durham about 2 miles until it intersects with Pacific Highway. Turn Right onto Pacific Highway. The second traffic light will be Beef Bend Road. Turn left onto Beef Bend Road and follow instructions below to the airfield.
Coming from the North, exit freeway at exit #294 (Pacific Highway/Oregon Coast). Follow Pacific Highway approx 3.8 miles to Beef Bend Road. Turn right onto Beef Bend Road and follow instructions below to the airfield.
From Newberg area; Take Pacific Highway (99W) towards Tigard. After you cross Durham Road, Beef Bend Road will be the second light. Turn left onto Beef Bend Road and follow the below directions to the field.
From Beaverton area: Highway 217 South to Tigard Exit. Right on Pacific Highway. Follow Pacific Highway to Beef Bend Road. Right on Beef Bend, follow the below directions to the field.
Beef Bend Road: The airfield is approx. 2.5 miles from Pacific Highway and will be on your left on 147th/Meyer Lane. 147th is a single lane road on your left. After you pass the Oakmont Apartments on Beef Bend Road, the road will dip and then climb. 147th will be on the left near the top of the dip. PLEASE use care when turning onto 147th. A rise in the roadway makes you blind to oncoming traffic until you are right at the intersection. Also, 147th is difficult to see until you are there.
Turn left onto 147th, follow the single lane road to the bottom of the hill. The road will fork, turn right on Meyer Lane. Follow Meyer Lane to a house, then left to a gate at the end of the road. The Hanger will be on your right just past the homes and Greenhouse. Park on the left next to the Greenhouse.
